Privacy Policy
Last updated April 20, 2026
This policy explains what FeedTube collects, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Identifiers — account information you provide when you sign in (handled by our authentication provider), and a user ID we associate with your account.
- Commercial information — your subscription plan and billing status. Payment details are handled by Clerk and are never stored by FeedTube.
- User content — the YouTube channel or playlist URLs you add, and any preferences you set on them.
- Internet activity — basic request information, such as IP address and browser info, captured by our hosting infrastructure for security and reliability.
What we don't collect
FeedTube does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking.
Third-party services we use
FeedTube relies on the following providers to operate. Each one has its own privacy policy, linked below:
- Clerk — handles authentication, user accounts, and billing. Your email, password or OAuth credentials, and payment details are processed by Clerk, not by FeedTube. clerk.com/privacy
- Cloudflare — hosts the service. Cloudflare's infrastructure processes your requests and stores your account data and feed settings. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- YouTube / Google — FeedTube fetches publicly available channel and video data from YouTube in order to build your feeds. policies.google.com/privacy
Cookies and local storage
FeedTube only uses cookies and local storage for things the service needs to work, like keeping you signed in. We don't use them for advertising or tracking.
Your feed URLs
Your private feed URL contains a personal token. Treat it like a password — anyone with the URL can read your feeds. If it's ever exposed, you can regenerate it from your dashboard to invalidate the old URL.
How your data is used
We use your data only to operate the service: authenticating you, generating your feeds, processing payments, and diagnosing problems. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising or tracking purposes.
Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)
We process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the service you signed up for (creating feeds, authentication, billing).
- Legitimate interest — to keep the service secure, to prevent abuse, and to diagnose problems.
- Legal obligation — when we're required to retain or disclose data by applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your data.
- Portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection / restriction — object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Opt-out of sale or sharing (California residents) — we don't sell or share personal information for advertising, so there's nothing to opt out of, but you have the right to request that we confirm this.
- Complaint — EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@upnatom.net. We'll respond within 30 days.
Data deletion
Deleting your account removes your personal data and your feeds from our system. You can also email support@upnatom.net to request deletion.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and your feeds from our database immediately. Cached copies may persist for up to seven days before expiring.
Security and breach notification
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. If we discover a breach that affects your personal information, we'll notify affected users and applicable regulators as required by law.
Children
FeedTube is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email support@upnatom.net and we'll delete it.
International transfers
Our providers process data in the United States and may process data in other regions. Where required, transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland are covered by the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top.
